This is a lovely and beguilingly simple table by Will Gordon. It is very difficult to be simple especially when one is a student wanting to show what one can do. Simplicity often sits upon a complex structure, as in this case. Resolved forms can contain surprises and complexities
These are three boxes by Christian O’Reilly made in Ripple Ash, English Elm and American Walnut. Note how he has integrated the handle into the design and slightly tapered the sides of the carcases so giving a subtlety to these simple forms.
