Rowden Atelier
David established Rowden Atelier in 1995, and it continues to this day as a world renowned fine woodworking school. Rowden carries a philosophy to respect the craft in fine furniture making and persists in pushing students to do the best work possible, regardless of their experience or background.
Published Books
David published two books exploring furniture making excellence. ‘Furniture With Soul’, profiled his contemporaries making and design. ‘The Intelligent Hand’ was published in 2018 just before his passing. It laid out his journey from fine artist to respected furniture designer and detailed his legacy, the world-renowned Rowden Atelier Woodworking School.
