Join us for a woodworking short course
Have you ever fancied taking part in a woodworking short course? If so, then why not take a look at what we have to offer. Rowden Atelier is an internationally renowned furniture school located in the heart of the north Devon countryside. Students come to us from around the world. Some to take part in our short courses, others for longer.
We run a range of courses here at Rowden. There are weekend woodworking courses in Tool Basics and Box Making. Single week courses tailored to your individual skill level. Or if you fancy spending a bit more time with us, there is the three month Professional Designer Maker course.
You might choose to live on-site in one of our caravans, or even to camp during the warm summer months. This not only allows you to immerse yourself in the Rowden experience, it also enables you to spend more time in the workshop. Although the tutors and Machine Shop are only available during workshop hours, we encourage students to spend time out of hours at the bench practising their hand skills.
