Going International
One of the things we are very proud of at Rowden is the number of international students our courses attract.
Britain has a fantastic heritage in fine furniture making going back centuries. One only has to think of Thomas Chippendale and the Barnsley brothers, Ernest and Sidney. These three pioneers of the British furniture industry helped to create a culture of excellence that still exists today. This belief in excellence is an integral part of the training we provide at Rowden.
With students travelling from as far afield as North America, Africa and Japan, as well as throughout Europe, we have a truly international body of alumni, of which we are very proud.
We often speak about the ‘spirit’ of Rowden’ and a large part of that is bound by the cultural mix of the students themselves. This creates an ever-changing and diverse melting pot of cultural influences. And working in such a vibrant environment is of great benefit to all our students.
Distance is not an obstacle, it is merely the route to fulfilling your passion.
Until next time,
Lakshmi
