Christmas Boxes

One of the things that students here make rather well are boxes. We use it to teach workmanship on a small scale. People come up close to a box, they get their noses right on the surface so your work has got to be “spot on.” The following are examples of three very good boxes. The first two are rather special and by Richard Spooner, the first in Ripple Sycamore with Pearwood details and the second box in English Walnut. The final box is by Matt Rodgers in American Walnut with Ebony details
