Woodworking Short Courses

For many, coming to Rowden Atelier to study furniture making is a complete change of lifestyle or career. It is a rather unique opportunity to ‘take a break from life’, to envelop themselves in the Rowden bubble in the heart of the Devon countryside.

Our one-week woodworking courses are a great way to test the waters and see if this furniture making lark is really for you. Classes are kept deliberately small to ensure that all of our students receive the level of focused teaching for which we are renowned. And whilst you may only be here for a week, you will also get to mix with our one-year students and fully experience the Rowden way.

All tools and materials are provided so all you need to bring along is yourself!
