Furniture Making Short Courses

Short Courses at Rowden

Rowden has a longstanding reputation for its one-year course, where our students  are trained to make the highest quality fine furniture. Some have a little experience, others have none at all. But  all are united by a love of wood.

But that is not all we do here at Rowden. We also offer a range of additional short courses. With courses ranging from a weekend to a week six  months, there are many ways to experience and learn the Rowden way. Taking a short course is a great way to dip your toe in the water and  see how we work firsthand.

Uniquely, everybody who attends a short course here is expected to learn to the same exacting standards and levels of accuracy as the students on the longer courses. This means that you can apply your newfound skills to whatever you choose to do afterwards, safe in the knowledge that you have been taught in exactly the same way as all Rowden students before you.

These courses do get booked up well in advance so drop us a line to see what is available.
