I have just returned from delivering a lovely table to a lovely lady. When we embarked upon this journey Daniela told me that she had never before been in a situation that she would be able to to have an input in to acreative project such as this. i assured her that it should be fun and that if it wasnt then i was not doing my job correctly.
My brief from daniela was to design and make an occasional table to occupy a space in front of a splendid sculpture by Anish Kapoor in the living room of her London apartment. My piece was to “lead the eye, meandering up to the sculpture”.
