Xzen II

This is the development of a Ming period Chinese chair. The design of this chair is famous for the fluid swinging back and arm support. It sits on a square rigid form for seat and legs with two opposite visual forms. Xzen is a 21st-century chair – light, comfortable, strong and good looking from all sides.

This was made as part of a series of furniture that was exhibited at Design Shanghai. An exhibition bringing Western and Eastern furniture makers together. Alongside this, we have also exhibited Andromeda, Bibliotheque and Perseus at the show.
