David’s expression matured, but never lost the artistic punch that became his trademark. He became known for his chairs with their flowing form and characteristic curves. Each in the course of his career was unmistakably a ‘David Savage’; from his high energy, interlocking ‘Love Chairs’ that developed in a series over his career, through to the magnificent ‘Perseus’ and the subtle elegance of ‘Gracie’.
