The timber for this piece came from an estate outside London. David was contacted by the head gardener asking if he might like a part of the tree:
“This one is unusual because it probably went in during the planting done here by Capability Brown in the 1700s”.
The estate subsequently wanted something made from this tree, something special. This cabinet.
