“Two chairs that are like separate individuals; happy to be apart but equally happy to come together; to fit inside each other, and create a third identity; a relationship”
These chairs were originally made for David’s marriage to his wife, Carol. The Rector of the village church suggested they have a couple of his chairs to sit in, during the service.
Since then the design and the concept have been commissioned and evolved by different clients. Each set of Love Chairs is distinct, developed to reflect the user, and what they want to say about themselves. Flashy and vivacious, or quiet and loving.
Each pair of Love Chairs takes a different form, as unique as the relationship they will represent.
