This beautiful burr oak and walnut backgammon table came about as a result of an exhibition in London.
We selected burr oak for the tabletop Macassar Ebony and Quilted Maple for the backgammon and chessboard with Walnut, to match the chairs for the table legs that were also commissioned.
The table legs are very special. A simple and resolved solution, elegant but rigid, designed considering use on an uneven flagstone floor. They match the curve and beauty of the chairs whilst avoiding any wobble or issue with stability.
