For some months now the guys have been playing a five-a-side soccer team made up of members of the staff and students at Shebbear School. They come back every Thursday morning fresh from a beating that has been consistent week after week after week. ‘He is very competitive that headmaster’ they tell me. When you win a match I will put it on the website, I promised. So here we are, at last celebrating a well earned and convincing victory. Shebbear School 13 Rowden Rowdies 17.
