It’s that time again where I get to show off some brilliant student furniture. This time it’s Matt Duckworth, with his beautiful English Walnut writing desk with wild unsteamed English Pear and English Cherry drawer and Spindlewood details. Matt has completed a 50 week designer maker course here at Rowden and is now working on his own commissioned piece.
This piece was his final major project on the course and is now, I am pleased to say, exhibiting it in the Cheltenham ‘Celebration of Craftsmanship & Design’. It’s good to see craftsmen/women getting their work out into the public eye and we wish him all the very best with the exhibition.
