“HARRYS CHAIR”

Named after Harry Hare the first craftsman to make these chairs. This is an English Oak dining chair designed to display a series of sensuous curves up and down the length of the dining table. Chairs are available in sets of six, eight, or ten. Allow a cost of GBP 1000 per chair. This chair can also be made in Light Ash and Olive Ash.

“THE DEVONIAN DINING TABLE”

First displayed at the Devon Guild of Craftsmen summer exhibition this table is shown here in English Oak with a contrasting granite centre section to accept hot serving plates. This design is avaliable in English Oak, Light Ash and Olive Ash. Shown here it seats eight but is small enough not to dominate a modest dining space whilst still looking solid and strong. Larger sizes are available upon request. Allow a budget of GBP 7000 for a standard size and up to GBP 10,000 for a larger table. The table shown here was made for me by Tjeerd Hendel- Blackford in our Devon workshops and the chairs by Harry Hare .

“HERACLES”

A classically formed and organically developed design to compliment a modern garden. Three benches to sit in a semi circle at the end of a vista lined with cherry trees and backed by a beechwood hedge. These designs are unique and will not be replicated. For a commission that will develop this concept allow a budget of GBP 20,000. These wonderful benches were made for me in our Devon workshops by Peter Hart and Harry Hare.

“THE MILLION DOLLAR TABLE”

“I want a table that will go over there and look a Million” said Colin. So that is what he got, a Macassar Ebony sunburst patterned circular table with the 32 leaves of veneer meeting at centre with pin point precision. We are currently working on a set of eight chairs to compliment this special piece. No, we would not make it again no matter how much you paid me.
