CAN YOU HELP PLEASE?

YOUNG MAKER WANTED TO WIN £4000 TOOL CHEST

Do you know a young person under 25 who loves making? Do they need hand tools and help? Please pass this on to them or to anyone you think might be interested and might know someone. 
We are looking to give away a tool chest made by Chris Schwarz. this would sell for over $4000 in America. We plan to fill it with basic hand tool kit used by student furniture makers some new tools some second hand probably a value of £1000. The two best entrants will be invited to Rowden Atelier in Devon for a week doing a Basics training courses worth £750 each. All expenses paid. You will compete for the final prize. 

Applicants should be 25 or under. You should be resident in United Kingdom. You should send photos of what you have made, drawings or photos. If possible a few words to tell me about yourselves. Who you are? What you have done and what you want to make? It need not be furniture but the tools are wood working tools.

David Savage

David Savage was a master craftsman and the inspiration behind Rowden Atelier. It is his ideals and his lifetime link with the Arts and Crafts movement, which drives our ethics and our quality. Published author and globally renowned maker in the bespoke luxury furniture business, David sadly passed away at the start of 2019. He is sorely missed, but his articles and his work live on.

Hi Marcie
Go for it. Homeschooling is very brave and very good if you do it right. I will help all i can. For some people this is in their DNA, and its what they do best, i get them arriving at my door after 20 years looking at a screen sitting on their bottoms earning good money, but unhappy, and not knowing why.

not yet, we are having three applicants to the workshop for a week end of this month.
